I was in Hyderabad last week for a wedding. I didn’t get to explore the city too much but I did go see Charminar and buy some bangles from Choodi Bazaar.

Today’s been one of those sad days everyone in Mumbai/Bombay will remember. In a span of 20 minutes we had 3 bombs go off in very crowded areas of the city.

I’m off to Delhi on Saturday for a week, errr 10 days. I can’t wait and this song gets me so excited about my trip.
Cricket.
So, if there’s one thing you should know about us Indians, it’s that we love our cricket. Today is the semi-finals of the world cup and we’re playing against Pakistan. Now, being in the semi-finals is one thing, but playing against Pakistan is another. Both countries go back a long way, and I really don’t need to share any details about that.
This match is huge. Most people have shut shop/offices and stayed home to watch this match. I got an email from my travel agent informing me his office would close at 2:00pm due to the match. My parents didn’t go to work. I haven’t moved away from my television even for a minute (well except for bathroom breaks). Almost everyone is matching this match tonight.
This game is probably going to go down to the wire. Goooo INDIA! We need to go to the finals.
